APW - E. Howard & Co, Boston, Series V, 15J, L-S (just over 15S), heavy 14K gold original E.H. & Co. HC, gold cuvette over glazed observation mvt cover, white enamel SS dial, umbrella style hands, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#62455. Gross weight of assembled watch 87.8 dwt (136.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, few small fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with hl at 5; excellent hands, minute missing a minuscule speck of its tip; case shows little wear, initials "A T" crudely but very lightly scribed to surface of front shield at an oblique angle, cuvette with some scratches from slipped past openings, upper rear with shallow impression from bow, no exterior dents or dings otherwise, engine turning detail reduced at shoulders but good otherwise; tight bow, crown shows very light wear; good glass crystals.
